About You
This position requires a detailed knowledge and understanding of the policies, practices and statutory requirements of work within the mental health sector. To be considered, you will have tertiary qualifications in Community Services and/or relevant experience in working with vulnerable clients with a focus on mental wellness. You will have a wide understanding of the Mental Health National Standards and Quality Management Frameworks.

You will be highly motivated, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for helping others. You will be approachable, with highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to develop positive rapport with a range of participants, their families, advocates, and other relevant stakeholders. Further to that, you will be a good leader, with the ability to manage employees and lead a proactive culture focusing on delivering quality services that promote individualised supports, safety, and compliance.

Finally, you will be prepared to enthusiastically embody Rise’s values with a deep belief in the organisation’s vision statement to “celebrate people”.

You will also demonstrate;

• The ability to lead, motivate and manage a team and to work with minimal supervision.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise own workload
• Intermediate computer skills in common use Microsoft applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook and database usage) and experience with database usage
