About the Role

Rise is now recruiting for an experienced Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary to join our Finance program on a Full-time basis. This position is part of the Leadership Group and is responsible for providing leadership in relation to financial matters and governance management of the organisation. The position plays a key role in representing Rise to external stakeholders including government and the broader community while being guided by Rise’s Strategic Plan and the values of the organisation. The position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly assists other executives with all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, securing new revenue and all other financial and governance matters.

About You

This position requires demonstrated experience in financial management, governance and continuous improvement. You will be the embodiment of our values, with highly developed communication and interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build positive internal and external productive relationships.

You will also demonstrate;
• Standing as a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Demonstrated ability to keep abreast of current trends.
• A proven leadership history in engaging staff to achieve high quality outcomes with a strong commitment to workplace values.
• Highly developed critical analysis, evaluation and monitoring skills.
• A proven capacity to make pragmatic decisions.
• Experience in successfully delivering projects.
